Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon

"I have been under the care of Dr. Purtill for the past six years. I have required constant monitoring due to severe peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Purtill has been with me every step of the way. Thanks to his attention to detail and wonderful compassion, I will be here to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday. Dr. Purtill is a wonderful human being and a doctor that constantly strives to give his patients quality of life." -MP

"I had no pain. I was on my feet and home in 2 days. The recovery was much quicker than I ever expected. I was back to driving in one week. I would highly recommend the doctor. He is patient friendly."- JS  (Procedure: Endovascular Aneurysm Repair)

"Dr. Purtill has been my vascular surgeon for 10 years. He has always conducted my many medical issues, with compassion, care, and accuracy. Thanks to Dr. Purtill I am still here to continue living my life, without his feverish work I would no longer be here." -MB

"I am a 73 year old male with diabetes and I am on dialysis. Due to my poor circulation, I developed an ulcer on my right heel. My doctors were not able to heal the ulcer and it grew to a 6"x 4" to the bone wound. In October 2007, the doctors wanted to amputate my leg while telling me how good the prosthesis would be. A visiting nurse recommended I see Dr. Purtill. It was the best thing I could have done. Dr. Purtill explained his plan to heal the ulcer which included surgery on my leg. He was sincere and determined to heal the ulcer and gave me hope. Throughout my treatment he remained hopeful and concerned. In January 2009, the last of the ulcer healed. I need special shoes to protect my "new" heel, but thanks to Dr. Purtill, I still have my leg and can walk again. My wife and I are eternally grateful to him." - BC

"My mother has been a patient of Dr. William Purtill for the past few years. She has been treated for a stubborn leg ulcer. His skill and knowledge of wound care is only surpassed by his kindness, empathy, patience and consideration for those under his care"- DB

"Eight years have passed and if not for a surgeon named Purtill, I should not have seen one fleeting moment of those years. From the streets of my home town, with a ruptured Aorta, to the operating room where he stood over me for six hours and saved my life. My life has since been fulfilled with my 4 year old and 2 year old grandsons. What else could one say?" - FG  (Procedure: Open Repair of Ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm)

"It's been over six months since I had the varicose veins on my left leg taken care of at your office. As you know I had a lot of veins all over my shin and a huge bulging vein coming down my thigh. Everything is completely gone and there is absolutely no sign that I ever had any varicose problems at all. I can remember my mother as well as a friend of mine having theirs done under the old stripping method and how much more of an ordeal it was then. This is truly an amazing advancement for varicose removal and I am more then happy to recommend your practice to anyone who is in need of vascular help. You and your entire office we're not only helpful but very kind and easy to work with. Thanks again and God Bless" - GK (Procedure: Endovenous Laser Ablation and Microphlebectomy)

"Please accept my sincerest appreciation for all your care and concern. You are a very gifted Vascular Surgeon and a truly personable doctor. You skillfully operated on my legs 8 times, because of my stupidity and not heeding your advice to stop smoking. After the last operation I finally stopped. On another note let me add about your concern for my daughter while she was sick was very heartwarming- "Doctor" I love you like a brother or son. God Bless you Always." -HM

"After my stent I was very satisfied with the results. I was able to walk again without any complications. I am now able to exercise without any pain- Thanks to Dr. Purtill!" - CM  (Procedure: Right Iliac Stent)

"I am a 47 year old woman who had the vein ablation procedure done by Dr. Purtill. I knew for sometime that I needed something done because my left leg bothered me for a few years. I was a patient of a different doctor's office for over a year prior and had many injections and my condition did not get any better. Dr. Purtill was highly recommended ... once the procedure was done and I fully recovered I convinced my mother to have the same procedure done. She can't believe that she waited so long to take care of herself. Dr. Purtill and his entire staff are kind, considerate and attentive... THE VERY BEST!!!" - JS   (Procedure: Endovenous Laser Ablation)
